Non-toxic and free from artificial fragrance and colours, Be Sassy is purposefully designed to mix in with your daily self care treatments for an easy, hassle-free application. For best results, mix with Dr. Dermacare’s Be Happy serum.
The Science
Be Sassy contains only one active ingredient- Ascorbic Acid. This highly concentrated form of vitamin C is extremely potent. This ensures you get the freshest dose of vitamin C delivered deep in to your skin every time you use it!

The study of Psychodermatology suggests that the mind has a considerable impact on the health of our skin – and vice versa. Treat your skin and mind. Take some time out of your day to relax, dedicate this moment to yourself, and purposefully apply our Be Sassy serum.
- Patch test first for 48 hours.
- Using the spatula provided, mix a rice grain amount with your serum or moisturiser and combine thoroughly in the palm of your hand.Apply to cleansed skin, avoiding eye area. Best used in the evening.
- A tingling sensation is normal. If tingling sensation is too strong, use less powder. Use as often as required, but start with 1-2 times weekly. Increase or decrease frequency, depending on how your skin responds. Discontinue use and cleanse skin if irritation occurs. Apply sunscreen daily whilst using this product.
Precautions:
Only a very small amount of powder is required (rice grain amount). Start with a small amount and build up slowly. Do not use on broken or irritated skin.Do not use with other Vitamin C products, peptides, Niacinamide or Vitamin A products.

How do I know if Be Sassy is suitable for my skin type?
Be Sassy is packed full of Vitamin C and antioxidants, giving it an abundance of repairing properties that are beneficial for most skin types. Due to the nature of Vitamin C, some tingling may occur as the product penetrates the skin layers. We don’t recommend using Be Sassy on sensitive skin for this reason. Always patch test first.
Are Dr. Dermacare products tested on animals?

Is Vitamin C powder as effective as Vitamin C serum?
Vitamin C powder is more stable and concentrated than serums, therefore it will deliver better results.
Can I use this powder with hyaluronic acid?
Yes, you can. For best results and a luminous complexion, combine Be Sassy with our Be Happy serum.
Should I use this powder with serums or creams?
We recommend mixing with serums as they are best for dissolving and blending the powder. However light creams, or masks also work well so long as the ingredients are compatible. For best results, mix Be Sassy with our Be Happy serum.
Can I use a dermaroller with Be Sassy?
Yes you can, but please patch test first. When you combine Be Sassy with a dermaroller, you are likely to experience a stronger effect, so start with a very small amount of powder and gradually increase. You may require more moisturiser when combining Be Sassy with a dermaroller. It is normal to experience mild peeling when using a dermaroller with Be Sassy. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
How does Be Sassy work?
Due to the nature of Vitamin C powder, Be Sassy is activated once mixed with a serum or cream. Vitamin C will penetrate skin layers to target deeper tissues resulting in a more even, radiant complexion. Antioxidants work to protect skin against signs of early aging and defend against environmental damage. The best ratio of Vitamin C for skin is between 10 and 20%, which is why only a very small amount of powder is required.
How long does Be Sassy last?
Vitamin C is most stable when delivered in powder form, promoting longer effectiveness and shelf life. Be Sassy uses 100% ultrafine pure Vitamin C powder which lasts longer and is super easy to mix and apply.Due to the very small amount required, Be Sassy powder will last a long time when used as recommended. Exact timeframes will vary depending on the amount of powder used and the frequency of application. Please be sure to follow instructions when applying Be Sassy.
