Here are steps to maximize your Distance Reiki Session:
1. Emma will arrange a specific time and date for your session. Prepare if you can by being in a receptive state, like lying down, lighting a candle or meditating. Prior to the session, send us a photo ( optional) or an image of something significant to you, your name, age, location, and your session’s intention. These details aid Emma’s healing connection, even if we’ve not met before.
2. Dedicate this time to yourself. Find a comfortable spot, ensure warmth, wear loose clothing, and disconnect from distractions like phones and computers. Close your eyes, take deep breaths to relax, and silence your busy thoughts. You’re here for yourself, with nowhere else to be. Focus on the sounds around you, let passing thoughts go without attachment, and return your attention to your breath if it wanders.
3. State your intention to receive the healing energy. Disregard time, location, and skepticism. Approach Distant Reiki with an open mind. Trust that the energy is flowing to you at the right moment. It’s impossible to predict the exact experience, as it’s unique for each person. Reiki works for your highest good, regardless of physical sensations. Focus on your breath by counting in and out. Relax in this space as long as you’re comfortable, whether it’s 5 minutes or longer. Falling asleep is fine. We will use a combination of sound bowls, Reiki symbols and crystals during your session.
4. After your session: Jot down any thoughts that arise during your session; valuable ideas often emerge in these quiet moments. Afterward, have a glass of water to support energy movement. Carry on with your day and pay attention to any insights or inspirations that surface, whether related to specific situations, personal issues, or creative ideas. Everyone has a unique experience, you may feel energised, extra tired and sluggish, have the best sleep ever, or you may not notice anything at all. Do not worry, the Reiki still works regardless of how you feel afterwards.
