Description
Benefits
- Hair products penetrate the scalp more effectively through micro-needling, including treatments for hair loss like topical steroids, platelet-rich plasma, and minoxidil.
- The best hair growth serum can significantly enhance the results when used alongside derma rollers. Derma rollers cause an increase in blood flow to the scalp and beard, which stimulates hair growth and thickening.
- Microneedling can trigger the production of collagen, a protein that is essential for maintaining the health of hair follicles. Stronger and more resilient follicles are better equipped to support hair growth. This process can potentially lead to thicker and fuller hair, making it a valuable technique for those seeking the best hair growth serum.
- Reduced Patchiness: Regular derma rolling can help fill in patchy areas in your beard, resulting in a more uniform and attractive facial hair appearance.
- Improved Product Absorption: Derma rolling creates micro channels in the skin, allowing for better absorption of beard oils and products, maximising their effectiveness in promoting healthy beard growth
100% Natural
Our derma roller utilises surgical grade stainless steel, finished with enhanced diamond-tipped technology to gently & painlessly disrupt the outer layers of the skin. Derma rolling is such a comfortable self-care practice you’ll find it hard to believe that there are almost 200 surgical grade stainless steel micro-points at work.
Supercharge Your Serums
Rolling the cylinder against your skin creates hundreds of tiny micro-channels, allowing active ingredients in serums to penetrate up to 100% deeper.

The Experts in Dermarolling
Dermarolling is not a new practice – & we’ve been a leading global provider of derma-roller skincare tools since the beginning. What makes our derma-roller stand out from the crowd?
Not all derma-rollers are made the same.
Surgical Grade Stainless Steel needles, are backed by Dermatologists, as the safest option when it comes to hygiene in derma-rolling practices, & that’s why we’ll never use any other metal. Studies suggest that titanium & other metals can tear your skin & leave you susceptible to infection.
Beware– there are still titanium dermaroller products on the market!
Every diamond-tipped needle on our roller is placed individually, while other brands use discs. These discs behave more like grinding cogs, or teeth & can tear or damage your skin causing infection.

Frequently asked questions
Why do we only use Surgical Grade Stainless Steel needles in our rollers?
We only use surgical grade stainless needles, which are finer, sharper and more hygienic. Stainless steel is used in the manufacture of surgical instruments. These are the best needles for rollers and are superior to titanium. Doctors and Dermatologists only recommend using stainless steel dermarollers.
What makes Dr. Dermacare rollers unique?
Dr. Dermacare uses surgical grade stainless steel needles, which are individually placed by hand into the roller drum. Other brands use discs of needles ( usually titanium) which are similar to pointy teeth and can tear your skin. These types of rollers are cheaper to produce, which is why other brands sell them.
The Dr. Dermacare derma roller is also listed with the Therapeutic Goods Administration ( TGA) in Australia as a verified medical device.
What size roller should I choose?
We always recommend starting with the .3mm roller if you are new to micro needling. If you have used rollers before, and would like to stimulate collagen production or treat acne scars or wrinkles, then purchase the .5mm roller.
Will skin needling damage my skin?
No, unlike laser or other skin treatments the roller will not damage your skin. This is what makes it an ideal treatment for anti- ageing. The needles do not destroy the epidermis and the channels are closed within an hour.
Will skin needling improve product penetration?
Yes, numerous studies have proven the penetrating effects of skin needling. The Dr. Dermacare roller is a tool designed for enhancing the benefits of skincare products. If you do not see any improvement after using a Dr. Dermacare roller for 3 months then you need to carefully examine the skincare products you currently use, as they might not contain any or adequate amounts of active ingredients. This is why for best results we recommend you use our Dr. Dermacare skin care products as we can guarantee they contain a high percentage of active ingredients.
How often can the roller be used?
You can use the roller as often as you like, but as soon as it starts to lose its sharpness ( like a razor blade) you will need to replace it. Dr. Dermacare recommends 100-120 applications for each roller, depending on how long you roll for each time.
How long should I roll for?
All rollers come with instructions, but on average it shouldn’t take longer than 5 minutes to roll your entire face.
Can microneedling stimulate hair growth?
Research indicates growth hormones are triggered by micro needling, and this can help stimulate hair growth. We recommend you use a roller in conjunction with a reputable hair growth product.
